His work spans multiple diagnostic modalities, including ECG signal interpretation and parasternal long axis echocardiogram analysis, creating a comprehensive AI-driven approach to cardiac assessment.

As Chief AI Officer, Harshal oversees the company's AI strategy, research direction, and model development pipeline. His expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing enables Cardio AI to push the boundaries of what's possible in cardiac diagnostics. He brings a research-informed approach to building production systems, evidenced by his development of EchoFrame—a lightweight 3D MobileNetV3-UNet that achieved a 91.37% Dice score for left ventricle segmentation with exceptional computational efficiency.

Harshal holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he specialized in medical imaging applications and built advanced AI systems including agentic RAG chatbots using LangChain and LLaMA models.
